The maintenance of our well-being is hidden in the structures we might not choose to recognize. This film is a cleaners’ manifesto.

The Right Not to Be Silent contextualizes the changes and challenges felt by the cleaning sector in Finland alongside the Cleaner’s Voice installation. The work deals with the legal problems encountered by cleaners, highlighting the relevance and possibilities of workers themselves to make a difference. The aim is to bring forth more widely the complexity of the mechanisms connected to both cleaning industry and precarious work.
