Biography


Martta Tuomaala (b. 1983) is a Finnish visual artist, working in Helsinki. She gained a Master's degree in Fine Art from Aalto University School of Arts and Architecture in 2014.


Tuomaala is a multidisciplinary artist combining mainly film, video, socially engaged art and militant research in her artistic practice. Her artworks have been selected for several exhibitions and festivals internationally.
